If a student uses all of their Charger Bucks or Dining Dollars we encourage that students buy more Dining Dollars as there is a discount at different locations on campus. However, all dining locations accept cash and credit/debit cards.
Depending on your plan, you will have a set amount of meals that may be used at your discretion during the semester. Each time you use a meal or meals in the Charger Cafe, the number of meals on your card is reduced by the number of meals used. Meals may only be used in the Charger Cafe and Sandella's. One meal unit may be used per dining period (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) unless otherwise noted. A maximum of two (2) swipes may be used per meal period at Sandella's. All meal plans expire at the end of each semester.
Dining Dollars work like a Debit Card. The appropriate Dining Dollars are placed on your ID card and any amount spent will be deducted from your balance. This allows for more convenience and means that you do not need to carry cash around campus to purchase food. Dining Dollars can be used at any dining facility associated with UAH Dining Services:Chick-fil-A, Papa John's, Sandella's, Charger Brew, the Charger Cafe, Dunkin Donuts, WOW and the Gardenview Cafe.
You can have all-you-care-to-eat during each visit to the Charger Cafe.
Dining Dollars carry over from the Fall semester to the Spring semester but expire at the end of each Spring semester.
